BRIGADOON - 56' (17M)
Brigadoon, a 56' (17m) pilothouse cruiser/racer, was launched in 2001. Her raised salon was an adaptation of the larger pilothouse cruisers - the 65' Sirona and the 88' Shaman. In 2001 her hull shape was distinctly modern and she was outfitted with a hydraulic lifting keel along with a carbon rig. The raised salon is the focal point of the boat being the main passageway to below decks, offering full protection from the elements yet full visibility through the pilothouse windows. The pilothouse extends over the galley to draw this area into the upper areas of the boat. Brigadoon was breaking new ground in the cruiser/racer classes, and she continues to be a comfortable, fast and manageable yacht plying the world's oceans.
